ABOUT

MISSION AND HISTORY
Hagar's House is managed by Aleicha Carter, LPC and a skilled board of directors. We are dedicated to allowing the spirit of God and clinical experience assistantships in growing our residents to their full potential. We have walked with and graduated more than 77 clients since our founding.
Hagar's House is a safe haven for women and children who are homeless due to domestic violence or human trafficking. In addition to housing, our women are given job training, access to legal counsel, licensed professional counseling for themselves and their children, as well as a list of skills that will help them to live on their own and raise their children responsibly without assistance. We focus on family, recovery, addiction, abuse, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and anger and stress management. We seek to provide our clients with the tools needed to find independence and wholeness.
The mission of Hagar's House is to assist women and children who are homeless due to domestic violence and sexual assault. Our goal is to help these women become economically empowered and self-sufficient by providing them with temporary housing and relevant supportive services.
